Project overview

Steppe Development Road LLC is implementing the 250 km heavy-duty paved road project on the Tavan Tolgoi–Gashuunsukhait route under a Design–Build–Operate–Transfer (DBOT) concession agreement. The project is being fully financed with the company’s own funds, and construction is being carried out accordingly.

This road project is not only significant in improving Mongolia’s coal and mineral exports, but also constitutes a strategically important component of the international trade and logistics network spanning Eurasia.
